Working in EU after ILR

Post by qhussain » Tue Jul 07, 2015 2:34 pm

Dear Friends,

I have got my ILR almost a month ago.

I have a JOB opportunity that is based in UK but need to work in another EU country.

They are ok to pay me in UK and sponsoring my EU visa.

How will this impact to my citizenship? (as per BC rule, I can not be outside of UK for more than 90 days)

Your suggestions/work around are most welcome.

Regards,
Hussain

You are correct. You shouldn't be absent for more than 90 days in the preceding year, if applying for British citizenship.

Moreover, a returning resident should not be absent from the UK for more than two years.
