14th weeks passed/waiting for Accompany Eu spouse visa

Post by Jane20231 » Wed Sep 30, 2015 9:04 pm

I applied for accompany eu spouse visa 14th week ago still I have not recived the decision,

The guidelines on Inis website state that the visa application of qualifying member of an EU citizen Spouse will be process with in four weeks once it's received by Consulate.

It's has been 9th week since they have recived the application, and still awaiting examination.

I have contacted Solvit four week ago.i have no idea why they are taking so long

Mine is 16th week already. My lawyer already wrote a letter to Dublin office and their reply was"
your application is currently awaiting examination."

At the moment visa process taking bit longer because of the refugee crisis and long backlog, they don't even respond to the calls, email and letter..
Many peoples are waiting for more than 3 three months and we have no option, a guy wrote a letter to them and they have replied like this also they said if we can't wait, ask them to cancel the application :(

Obviously they receive 400 applications per week now that's why they are finding hard to manage so only option we have is waiting patiently.
Stay blessed

My lawyer in Cork sent an email last September 18th and they promptly replied that day too.The reply was" We are seeking to process applications within the stated time limits but due to a very large increase in the numbers of such applications and the limited resources available to deal with them we are presently experiencing unavoidable delays.  We will endeavour to decide the application as soon as possible." My application is already 4 months / 16th week this October 5th.We were advised not to book flights as we wanted to include it to our application.

My lawyer will write to visa office Dublin again requesting a decision in my application, as it is in breach of EU Law to deny an EU citizen family member the right of free movement She will indicate our intention to proceed to the High Court, as we have a case for forcing the Department of Justice to make a decision. She will write complaint to solvit uk but it will aim to find solution within 10 weeks.

I am sending an email almost every week , and every week I get Different kind of response for instance on 9th of September they sent an email state the application is awaiting decison for visa officer and decision will be issued soon, then after two weeks I got an email saying the application is currently awaiting examination.

Then they said decision can be expected with in 8 weeks, when 8 weeks passed they emailed and said with in next 6 weeks and last Tuesday they said the decison can be expected with in coming weeks When all the documentation recived and no quires remaining outstanding.

No I m confused what does that coming weeks means? Does it mean 2-3 weeks or 5 -6 weeks ?

There is a new reply from visa office Dublin saying they will release decision on my applicantion on Nov.9th as I read from others seems like its not true.My last hope now is to wait for uk Solvit to investigate on my application.

Yes visamail replied to my lawyer's second email last Friday saying they will have decision on my application on Nov . 9th but still I'm doubtful of it.I will post here once I got the decision on that date.
My lawyer in cork will be sending the docs asked by the solvit today.

What docs did u send to solvit? Did you send by email or by courier?

Hi daven,
You dnt need a lawyer to make a complain to Solvit, sent an email to them, they will send you a form which you need to sign and scanned.

And I have scanned all documents which I sent along my application.
