I tell you a good secret and you owe me a drink mr smart.
end of the letter it shows me the department who is dealing with your application then you know easily where is that application of that long trip on the desks . then you will know what's happening ;) . Good luck and save some money for my drink :)

pyramid stone I owe you (and so others here) a pint if we show up to same ceremony :-)
The last letter I have seen from them was the 2nd ack, and all other communications are through email and same lady always answers and no signature, so technically its still "processing" haha

that is very strange. they always answer when contacted and usually within maximum an hour. anybody here contacted them within the last 48 hours? please let us know

what until the morning, and sure you can send them a letter asking for an updated before escalating the issue to the minister office
I e-mailed them since over 4 days no replies back

Rio,

Kindly share if you have received such a request from INIS & when did you receive it ? also was it via an email or via official letter from INIS ?

Also share your time lines as a reminder.

Thanks

Rio the ones in NI are asked to bring it from NI police. all other countries are not included, for simple reasons:

1- data protection, unless there is a potential for country security threat (ie famous criminal, terrorist)
2- many of our hoome countries are banana republics, so chances they would read english letter from Ireland authorities are low, and chances they respond within 20 years is also low (if the letter ever arrives anyway!)
3- only data exchanged is intelligence data, and in this case, they would have knew you by time you arrived to the airport first time you came to ireland!
4- any issue against you that happened within EU is already shared, so they would have knew without even asking you (or any other EU country) for a letter

@banana07
its hard to get them on phone on Thursday... I never managed to talk to them on Thursdays but Tuesdays. I think since the applications are low they might be thinking to reduce answering calls from two days to only one day....

Congrats to those who received approval
All the best and advanced gud wishes to those who
Yet to receive
I mailed to DOJ enquiring about next ceremony-15
So the answer is that might be hoping at the beginning
Of newyear tentatively with unconfirmed date/venue
And if my gutt feelings r correct currently then we can
Expect more approvals letters rolling out on coming days
Happy days for those 2 all my dear mates expecting
For a big date in their lifetime as a moment of truth
Once again my gud wishes in advance to all
I wish 2 c More happy and smiling faces from SANTA
