Saad, thank you for your kind words. I hold US greencard and my prospective employer in US offered me to fully sponsor my citizenship application in the US, so I will go ahead with it and make a permanent move (stay in the US) hence Im gonna write a letter to INIS today to withdrew my application. my pride is not helping me haha. all the best for ye guys and Im going to keep my eye on yer updates here.. wishing all of ye best of luck :)

Its been good times talking to all of ye.. all the best

@banana07
I`ll still recommend you to keep your application intact... don`t withdraw your application... Something is better than nothing mate.... just don`t do anything and take application process out of your mind... I am sure you are next in line of approvals....After all the efforts that you have made I still advocate you not to withdraw your application...

@banana what is your timeline? Please be positive and don't ruin what you have done so far. Its a matter of days now. US citizenship process is way longer than what Irish citizenship is right now.

Invitation for ceremony: STILL WAITING

Hope many still waiting for Approval will receive their letters soon and they also may included in the 23 Jan 2015 ceremony. That could be the reason why INIS people are not disclosing the number of people going to be the citizens on that day; they want to include more people on that Day. So those who get the approvals on coming days should send the documents ASAP.
Best of luck to all.
Got invitation letter for ceremony in todays post(17/12/2014): :D

Guys did you try to ring them today? I assume for a Ceremony in Dublin they need at least 2500-3000 approvals and I am sure they will not get them unless you all are also included.

Yes I rang them today and got a totally different answer what I have been told for the last 4 months. As per their emails and phone conversations my application was at final stage/submitted to minister for couple of months by now. Today they said they are waiting for Garda report..btw I applied 1st quarter of 2014. Not sure how they see the status on their systems..

Thanks guys. US citizenship is much shorter for specific nationals especially if the immigration law firm is well established.. at least it wont be a "privilege" that is going to let me lick their shoes to get it. its not neutral country like ireland but at least a US citizen is well protected anywhere by the govt etc etc..

I have sent the letter, may arrive sometime first week on Jan, and lets see what goes up with it..

I think the confusion about status/progress is very normal with INIS, and wont put any hopes on them.. so far 2 got approvals which is silly compared to long waiting people here.. here to another month of waiting xmas and new year etc.. the whole inis game of waiting starts

Darr81.. my heart goes for you.. I have been in same situation, and keeps reverting to "processing" every other reply! Im 1000000% sure they say its gone to minister to stop you from emailing them, and its not gone and not going to go for long time.. last phone call I made killed every single hope when the lady basically returned my application at least 2 steps in application stage wise, hence I decided to go with the US one with its pluses and minuses..

Guys still my gut feeling is this that Dublin ceremony is going to be a big one as it is used to be and all of you will be included. I am expecting another burst of approvals early next year to accommodate them in the coming ceremony.
