Palss. Innis Normally sent out approvals 2 weeks after ceremony, so hopefully these week we should start receving letter for good.... By God Grace.

hello every 1 on this forum i am new on this page and want to ask you guys that i have applied the Irish citizenship in mid sept last year got 1st letter 24Th sept 2014 Nd second letter on 12 Oct 2014 . i emailed at info@justice.ie 2 times 1st in mid of December last year Nd second last week Nd got reply from them

Hi

Your application continues to be processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be
submitted to the Minister for decision as expeditiously as possible.

It is recognised that all applicants for citizenship would wish to have a
decision on their application without delay. As well as being a
significant event in the life of the recipient, the granting of Irish
citizenship through naturalisation as provided for in law is also a major
step for the State which confers certain rights and entitlements not only
within the State but also at European Union level and it is important that
appropriate procedures are in place to preserve the integrity of the
process.

i never had problem with garda never took social benefit in employment from 2004 to till now . but i missed some credit card payments Nd it was written off ( about in 2010 ) . just wondering if there is some civil judgement on my name regarding the credit card would that effect my citizenship application as criminal record or something . i wanted to pay the debit but could not because of bad circumstances .But as soon as my circumstances get better will start paying them .

so i am just wondering will this credit card payment thing effect my application ? will be looking for any kind of advise from you guys on this forum Nd will be very thankful to all of you ......

Hello Asia , It will not affect your application , loans , credit cards will not affect your visa or citizenship application , my friend was also in a same situation - he got approved and nothing affected his application - so u are ok but it will be not good for your credit history , thats it .

We also had a negative balance on our credit card and my hubby is now waiting for the date of the next citizenship ceremony :0) do not worry.You'll be fine

It is so important to not to be reported to the Irish Credit Bureau or to have problems with the Taxman , That will be a problem for sure everyone should have a good character and that is a pert of it. like don't be escaping the bank to pay back your loan and expect them to congratulate you as well with the Tax.

So do they check with banks or with ICB ?

i will prob say end of feb or first week of march.

No one has gotten any approval so far these years

things have gotten really slow since start of year
