no one can answer this exactly; it depends on your situation. it can be 6 months or even a few years. you'd be best advised to just wait and forget about it for now.

hello guys new and old once anybody receive this answer before , what is that mean ? and is it soon to be approved "
Hi

Your application is currently being processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be
submitted to the Minister for decision as expeditiously as possible.

It is recognised that all applicants for citizenship would wish to have a
decision on their application without delay. As well as being a
significant event in the life of the recipient, the granting of Irish
citizenship through naturalisation as provided for in law is also a major
step for the State which confers certain rights and entitlements not only
within the State but also at European Union level and it is important that
appropriate procedures are in place to preserve the integrity of the
process.

Ir means that they are still waiting for agency reports..... sure that sometimes they just copy and paste and don't really look to your file....

The agency reports are not provided by you, it is requested by citizenship office in order to make an background check on you.... People here can confirm what it means.... as I sad most of the case they copy and paste on this kind of replies....does not mean that you are not in the advanced processing stage....

i never had problem with garda never took social benefit in employment from 2004 to till now . but i missed some credit card payments Nd it was written off ( about in 2010 ) . just wondering if there is some civil judgement on my name regarding the credit card would that effect my citizenship application as criminal record or something . i wanted to pay the debit but could not because of bad circumstances .But as soon as my circumstances get better will start paying them .

so i am just wondering will this credit card payment thing effect my application ? will be looking for any kind of advise from you guys on this forum Nd will be very thankful to all of you ......

thanks a million
Anyone what's civil judgment and how does it effect on citizenship application ?
