It looks like INIS are busy sending out invitations at the moment, if this thread is anything to go by:

http://www.immigrationboards.com/irelan ... l#p1076139
the ceremony invitations are sent by another department in INIS called Ceremony Team, its not the reason why they dont send approvals.

@ Senyo,I'm afraid there's nothing u can do at this junction, all u have to do is look forward to 2016 as they've placed u on probabation till 2016. It may seem long, but it's now less than 2 yrs away. Remember when u first had ur stamp 4? 5 yrs to naturalisation seems like a lifetime.Just make sure u stay out of trouble and do not come to the adverse attention of gardai. Turn the other cheek if u must,it's guaranteed that u'll be approved in 2016. It's not how far,but how well. Don't be disappointed with ur mates that got their approval recently, the world Is a market place, some finish sales early while some finish late and some don't even get patronised at all. Put ur chin up,and I wish u all the best mate!

Guys normally they dont send approvals once the ceremony date is announced. Expect the approval letters a week after ceremony.

Yes, because , for a bicycle there's no fixed fine, you have to go through court to pay the fine, if found guilty.
I was caught in rathmines for jumping a red light on a bicycle with pedal in dec 2012, and was convicted and fined in sep 2013.which i paid straight away and i did mention it on application form.

i think people who are waiting for their invitations to the ceremony believe that if they send more approval that would risk their place in the ceremony... that is absolutely wrong! as long as you have sent them the money before mid august then you are in the ceremony! approvals are sent in dates that have nothing to do with the ceremony invitations or the ceremony itself and it is an absolutely different section! so please give the people who are waiting for approvals hope, u have been in their place..........!

I was nt refused but, my decision was differed to 2016, i was not convicted, i had a quarrel with my wife and the case went to court
but the case was discharge without charge and i was set free to go home, but when they were doing the back ground check the police gave them the statement they took from my wife, which was presented to INIS. i still have a chance i should apply through my lawyer but did nt. my lawyer will take it over from there this happened in 2011 and i applied for my citizenship in may 2013. any idea. Thanks Senyo.

Sent an email to citizenshipinfo@justice.ie this morning regarding my application and received the following.

Hi

Your application is currently being processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be
submitted to the Minister for decision as expeditiously as possible. It is
of utmost importance that your permission to remain status is kept up to
date at all times

It is recognised that all applicants for citizenship would wish to have a
decision on their application without delay. As well as being a
significant event in the life of the recipient, the granting of Irish
citizenship through naturalisation as provided for in law is also a major
step for the State which confers certain rights and entitlements not only
within the State but also at European Union level and it is important that
appropriate procedures are in place to preserve the integrity of the
process.

Regards

Carmel Ryan
Citizenship Section

Also I have received the second stage letter since the 29th of July 2104. Any idea guys?

beloved is the belief that there are inherent differences in people's traits and capacities that are entirely due to their race, however defined, and that, as a consequence, justify the different treatment of those people, both socially and legally.
