2014 Citizenship Approvals

I received my citizenship approval letter today , was dated on 17/02/2014 , I hope you will receive yours soon mate and same to those who are waiting for long and to those who are in advanced stage.

Hi all, I am new on this forum. Congrats to all those who got there approval letters and gud luck to people like me waiting.

I applied for naturalisation end of September 2013 on basis of 5 years residency. In month of October I got letter of acknowledgement along with the fee receipt. On 19th November, I got a letter saying my documents have successfully cleared first stage and have gone to second stage. Since then I have not received any communication. I don't know what that means. Do I become lucky enough to get approval letter in this batch?

Please advise.

Your application should be in advance stage now....You can expect ur approval any minute now. Best to drop them an email confirming the status of your application....

Hi amison your application now in q to complete 6 month time and also minister office to get approval you lucky if you got first approval its mean your documents are complete best of luck

Hi @Pakistan11, I applied at the ned of September 2013, 1st letter of acknowledgement in mid October, then in mid Novemeber I got another letter saying my application has cleared first stage. Since then no communication.

@amison79...I am waiting for over 14 months ...Keep getting reply that my case is in.advance stage and will be informed my minister desicion ASAP ...

I have sent a mail to citizenshipinfo about the status of my application and this is the reply that I received from them-

Dear Amit,

Your application is currently being processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be
submitted to the Minister for decision as expeditiously as possible.

What does it means? Will i not be lucky to have my naturalization in the next batch? Will i have to wait for more time?

Its mean your application still in q and they will send to minister for sign .normal time is 6 to 8 month complete process .
Well i told you already this is normal time frame hope fully you get approval soon.

I am new to this forum. I am also waiting for my approval since last Sept. I wonder if approval time is also depending on the original countries you are from. People from some easy countries may get it significant faster than others? Another question is whether the approval letter is coming in the registered post or just normal post?

I don't think that processing times depends on what country you come from. During Garda vetting if nothing is found then I think it takes about 4 to 6 months.
Approval letter comes in normal post.
I applied 5th September and received first acknowledgement on 1st of November and received approval on 29th of January.
