Thanks Dublin3; and Congrats!! I applied on 4th of Sept. First lodgement letter was received on 20th of Sept; and then a letter saying past 1st stage was on 21th of Nov. But since then, I've had no news. I guess I just need to be patient then. :(

Recently I posted a mail to thm and got reply saying the application is still under process and would be sent to minister once procedure is completed.

Now i thnk i wud be not a lucky 1 to get date for next ceremony. We need to wait

Kanane, sorry for the questions but...

1. When did you get approval?
2. When did you send your fee off?
3. When did you get your letter?

I'm also in Ennis but haven't received anything for the 31st March ceremony yet :( I'm hoping it is still in the mail.

If I were you I would just wait...Id say they would get antagonized if they are constantly asked about the status. I have myself applied in November 2013 - it clearly states it can take between 6-12 months if all is ok.

If they need anything else I am sure they will be in contact...I'd say they are bombarded with questions all the time, its a waiting game at the end of the day, and seeing they are making huge money i'd say they have tight deadlines.

Just a minute ago I saw pics from the Convention Centre, with regards to today's ceremony.

Good luck to everyone, and I hope we shall soon get acceptance letters. :D :D :D seems I am very optimistic today.

Usually letters use to start rolling out after ceremonies. I will say end of this week or next week.

Hi Lads,

Last week was the ceremony 31/03/14, we were all hoping that the DOJ will start sending approval letters for the next citizenship ceremony (hopefully June).

Did anyone got any approvals so far...

@pakistan11

How did you know your case was delayed? Did they write to you and inform you?

I wrote to them recently in late Mar; and got canned message back:

"Your application continues to be processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be
submitted to the Minister for decision as expeditiously as possible."

Does this mean it's at the last stage before approval? I thought they would send out letters these days? Has anyone got approval letters at all during Mar/Apri?
