I got my Approval today.

Timeline:
Applied: 12/03/2015, Delivered: 16/03/2015 (Stamp 4EU Fam Permanent Residence)
Acknowledgement: 8/04/2015
Second stage: 08/05/2015
Approval: 17/06/2015

Does anyone knows how long it takes to receive invitation letter? I'm scheduled for an official training in the UK on 28th of July 2015 and my office has made all necessary payments and arrangements for the training. As a result, I would like to understand possible time-frame for receiving an invitation letter after the submission of my GNIB card. I'm just wondering whether I can make the July 17th Ceremony if I make payment and also return my GNIB Card this week. Many thanks.
Still a month to go before the ceremony so advance your payment for the fees and submit your GNIB darn immediately as you stand a good chance of being invited to the forthcoming ceremony in July. Congrats and best of luck!

Hi Everyone! This is my first post to share with you that I got my approval on Monday!

Here's my timeline:
Applied 13/2/15
1st acknowledgment 4/3/15
2nd stage 21/4/15
Approval 11/6/15

I submitted my payment and GNIB card yesterday and it has already been delivered, I hope I get the invitation soon as I already requested July 17th off from work!

I'm sooooo excited! Good luck everyone! :D

Congrats!

E-mail them (citizenshipinfo@justice.ie) they reply within minutes.

Again, if you already paid the fee and sent your GNIB card, you'll most likely get invited to the next ceremony.

See you on the 17th July!

Hi pals: How long at most does application have to be with Inis before one can personally write to the minister? Any advice+ my application is now 12 months. My solicitor got a letter today stating that because of the drinking & driving offence in 2008 that's the reason they are delaying a final decision on my file, however very soon they will write out to my solicitor.
What do you reckon guys?

Here my application time line :

Applied : 5th January 2015
1st acknowledgement : 19th January 2015
2nd acknowledgement : 13th March 2015 ( second stage )
Approval : Waiting

So guys what do you think. Will I make it by July cermony.
Spoke to the lady last time and she said they are getting things ready for the July cermony. You might be lucky to get it. Never know till first week of July. :D (fingercross)

With your application timeline it is not certain you'll be in for the July ceremony as you're yet to get an approval talkless of an invitation. Hopefully you'll be in the next batch of approval after the July 17th ceremony.

It is obvious you're being punished for the drink/driving offence you committed in 2008. Usually people with offences/crimes are punished and their application are deferred for between 6 - 18 months depending on the severity of their case. In your own situation, I hope it won't be more than 6 months. But I'd suggest again that you write a very strong personal letter through your solicitor, to the INIS department handling your case file (NOT THE MINISTER FOR NOW), explaining your circumstances and showing how deeply regretful and remorseful you are for the said crime and with sombreness promising never again to indulge in such reckless habit in the future. Make a promise to continue to be of good character and a responsible citizen if and when considered. Do not despair as a lot of people have passed through this same ordeal and yet were finally approved for naturalisation. I wish you well and best of luck while you patiently wait for a favourable outcome in your application. I wish myself luck too.

Last year the ceremony in November was small and in Cork, probably would be the same trend this year!
