2016 Citizenship Approvals

To me each application has a status what ever they say
But they barely tell via email unless they want to

I wouldn't say email are copy paste as I have been in touch with thm on and off in the past year
I kept getting continues to be processed up to the past two months I've been told it's being prepared for submission but has not been submitted.
But seems like my wait is still ongoing.

Application was based on marriage but ddnt meet the residency so was changed to association. But as my residence was complete in August I'm hoping things will start moving for me.

received on the 15/08/2016 , Ack letter received on the 28/09/2016

did you submit application with new form and original passport?

May I ask if you received 2nd stage letter? I applied for my wife on 25th May (3 years Irish Spouse), received 1st letter on 22nd of June and haven't heard anything back from them till date - In line with above timeline may be I should expect an approval letter next week.

Thanks, Not received any 2nd stage letter.
After Acknowledgement letter, Directly received the Approval letter. Almost 3 months full quite on my application (I never contacted them in between).

Hope your wife will get Approval letter in 1 or 2 weeks based on your time lines.

Hello everyone, I received my acknowledgement letter today it took 7 weeks. Thank you for all the information you provided, and congratulations to everyone that got the approval letter this week.

Applied: 11/08/16 Received: 12/08/16 (old form)
First Letter: 29/09/16
Second Letter: Pending
Approval: Pending.

OK guys. Sorry for late posting.
Got acknowledgement letter at last exactly after 6 weeks.
My timeline is as follows.
Application posted on 11th Aug. (Old form based on Irish Association)
Application delivered on 15th Aug.
Acknowledgement letter received on 27th September dated 26th September.

This the letter i got from citizenship today:

Your application is being prepared for submission to the Minister, it has
not yet been submitted. You will be informed of the Ministers decision as
expeditiously as possible.

i wonder how long it will take to get approval after this letter, i'll be greatful if someone can tell .

Could you please share your timeline? Also did you make any correspondence to get your status of the application? Or it just came to you? To my knowledge I haven't heard so far (sorry if I missed this information) that people get such letter.. I assume that you made correspondence with the citizenship department and you got this response as a letter? Or in the email?

i am out of this 25th Nov ceremony.
after 5 months my applications is still at initial stage of processing. i will be informed via letter if moves further.
seems like all of applicants are gonna get update via letters now.
