Hi guys,

First of all thanks to all here who is doing a great job sharing theirs experience.is any one here who apply in june/july get any approval? I am in Ireland since 2004 as a student till 2011.never been illegal. my application is based 5 years eufam. I apply on 28 june got my acknowledged ment letter 30 th aug 2016.ask me. 30th sep for bills with my spouce.I send them next week.20 rh October 2016 I got my second stage letter. my solicitor send them reminder and 30th November got reply from them my application is being prepared for give to rhe minister. since I m waiting. I have 4 driving offence in 2012 two for speeding two for parking.I go court 4 time.3 time I paid fine in ccourt and one time judge forgive me.is that will effect my application? I attached all my court recipt with my application. I didn't write any remorse letter as I see people writingremorse letter with their application. is it nesassary? I don't know why they took two months for give first letter. as people get this in one week? also bcoz of solicitor will my application will be delayed? as here I see people telling application sent by own has quicker effect!! Thanks to all.

As I see your application took nearly 3.5 months to go to second stage but you got acknowledge ment letter pretty quick as I got pretty same time my second stage letter. As people saying here it took 3 month 20 days minimum from second stage letter. Finger cross are we getting approval in January or it's might take long. I wish you good luck brother.

It's bit weird that they did ask for ur wife details..good part is u did send what they asked.
Also I got email from them stating that my app not yet submitted to minister yet.
They call it advanced stage.
On the other hand they said approval will be rolling on early January..
I have ten years visa letter but didn't extend my visa yet which is about to expire Jan 19th..
How about you ?

My visa is finished in 23 rd january.
Apply for visa but didn't get response yet waiting wen my gnib nearly finished than get a temporary visa nd send them new gnib.I hope it will approved before finished or I need to send them mew gnib.only now afraid will my application will delay or not for court appearance for traffic incident. as you saying approval will be rolling from January than we only can hope.

id say book an appoint with GNIB on 23rd for your re-newal visa if in case..
as your visa is about to expire you better get ready they might ask for further visa..
now about court matter as long as u did send ur letter with evidence that u paid your fine you should be ok..
based on previous experience they give approval as long as applicant is honest..
i hope u get your approval before the expiration of ur current visa,,,

Look like they are not gonna giving approval till end of January. As my application will be six month in 27th December but no news yet.After brexit they are taking longer for processing. Hope new year bring good news for us.

Hi Everybody,

Anyone got update from INIS regarding their application based on Irish Associations applied in mid of this year? I applied on 11th August and no response after acknowledgement on 19th September. I sent them email one month before and application still in initial stage.

Very frustrating.

I guess the process will start in January again

I received initial letter of acknowledgement dated 14th June 2016. Applied on the base of 5 years residency in the end of July 16
Wife applied after about a week on similar basis- Acknowledgement letter received and her letter was dated 23rd June 16
No communication received since for either of us.
Please advise what to do ?

Its in second stage and they are verifying garda checks,social check and other dept.
They say it advance stage..after all these checks they will submit it to the minister for decision..
Id say wait another 6 weeks and by then if u do not receive any approval..E-mail them again..
I hope you should get you approval in few weeks..

When did you apply? Please share your time line..
However..if you have your acknowledgment there is ref no like CITZ xxx,you can use this as ref and email to them..

Well,They would say like :
Your application is being prepared for submission to the Minister, it has
not yet been submitted. You will be informed of the Ministers decision as

But they didn't because all the checks are not done yet..

NB: Whats the basis of your application

say an example :they may have done your garda checks but they currently checking social or tax office so - in this case
they will say are viewing to check statory condition or other relevant nature if your app fit or not? does it make sense?
on the other hand you received your second letter 12 dec and all these checks took at least few weeks.
By the way ur application moving smooth and fast to me..
if i were you i will be hoping an approval by feb second week..
Even we receive approval we have to wait till 21st April for ceremony..

5 years EU Family is my basis.
