citizenship and traffic fines - whats the bottom line

Post by johannf » Tue Apr 12, 2016 1:24 pm

Hi all. I've been searching this forum and the web for a definitive answer on the traffic offences question in the citizenship application (Question 11.1 - 11.2 Form 8). And to be honest there are mixed views on it and even some that say citizenship can be denied based on it?

So I am in Belfast, so the fines are on the UK side. But I have 2 traffic fines that I paid up, no court visit etc. So no conviction.

Should I declare these or not? Help!!! :?

I wouldn't hide it
I have same situation and my application is in advance stage and they didn't say anything yet. I would be surprised if application is refused based on that unless it was for drink and drive
