Nothing yet Mimmi, I just sent them an update request today... I'm expecting a usual message, but you never know

Application : sep 2011(5 years residency stamp 4)
1st Acknowledgment: oct 2011
jun 2012 ask for Gnib card copy and last 8 year passport copy send them next day
2nd Acknowledgment: jun 2012
ask for last 8 year proof of address in april send it next day since nothing hear hop for the best finger cross
3rd acknowledgment: april 2013.

send them Email in jun 2013 . same replay waiting for agency report nothing change in 2 year same replay getting copy and past.

No. I meant 04/02/2013
It only took 7weeks to get approval and when l get my certificate on the 04/07/2013. That means everything (application,approval and certificate) only took 5month.

Hi all got my approval letter in the post this morning its the most magnificent feeling.

Applied in November 2012
Confirmation letter in January 2013
Approved 8th July 2013

CONGRATZ!

If I'm not mistaken after the May 2013 ceremony, hundreds if not thousands were posted around 1-2 weeks after.

hope it will be same case, I can't wait to check my postbox! LOL!

It was an even bigger suprise since I rang them 2 weeks ago and was told my Garda vetting hadn't even come back yet and it would probably still be another 6 months!

Yes, same thing happened with my spouse back in Feb, they said 2nd stage but a week after approval came in.

counting from your confirmation date, the promised 6 months is a reality!

applied on basis of 5 years
application: June 2012
approval: July 2013

Applied December 2012 - 5 years = combination of stamps 1, 3 & 4
1st acknowledgement: January 2013 - reference number - proceed to 2nd stage

Received my approval today! To God be all the glory!

Thank you everyone for all the info, it is much appreciated!

Hopefully I can be included in the August ceremony.

To Alan Shatter, you are the man, and to all in INIS, thanks for keeping your 6 months decision promise, great job!

Hi Mary26, honestly, all you can do is wait. I did an every month query to them even before my 6th month, but all it has been telling was I'm still in 2nd stage, I never got an advance stage notice or it's in the minister's desk already. In fact, my last email to them was just last Friday (5 July), they replied 2nd stage. I got a decision letter just yesterday (letter dated 8 July).

So just be patient, if all goes well, it should be on your post box very soon.

got approval letter 26th june 2013

they are taking their time with 2011 2010 applicants it seems
