try to email them citizenshipinfo@justice.ie with your reference number and please share your case status.. mine is "at advanced stage processing" :? i have no idea why it's taking too long and my case is not complicated.. i applied in feb.. not even a single traffic offence! i'm thinking of not sending them the money when they send the approval except after a very long time bcoz they processed my app in a very long time :D

i did, but they kept replying it back that its in process, i applied in 1st may 2014.

no :( they would tell you if it is at advanced stage, but if they tell you your application continues to be processed and will be submitted for a decision as soon as possible, it means within 4 months but if your applications is based on spouse of irish citizen then you will get your approval next week :D viva Irlanda :D

okdokie no and yes i just read your earlier post, im in the same situation like you, i applied in feb and 2nd ack in april, and still no sign of any letter :(

bebo1901 on what basis you have applied?
Mine application is on the basis of spouse of an Irish citizen.

I have applied in may, i even received acknowledgement letters in these dates too. I hope i get my approval soon.

Sorry, I'd normally just edit my original post, but I haven't found that option. This entire process was a lot faster than I expected, as I still remember the days when the average was 26 months.
