I have been in the dole in my past for 1 year.

I am working right now (full time) and I have been paying my taxes for the last 5 years.

I will a problem for me Apply for irish Passport ?

I don't think they can prevent someone getting a passport just because of unemployment.

Though you didn't say where you were from or if you mean citizenship and not a passport?

Does your passport form ask anything about your long term employment history?

Dole may be an obstacle to Irish citizenship certainly.
