eu1 dependent parent uk citizen 2016

I submit my parent application in ireland while my mother in ireland on 05.10.2016 through solicitor. Can anyone till me how long it take to get temporary stamp 4, some get in 4 week some 12 week. Any idea about it. I am student as well as doing job also.
I submitted
all document except medical insurance for me and my mother.
Any advice or suggestion in that regard. what more docuent can be required. take frame of visa

That is strange, for Temporary stamp 4 to be sent within a month. It took my parent 9 -10 weeks.

The decision time is usually 6 months, they gave you March 2017, which is less than 6 months.

There are very strange things about your case, but good luck for the future.

Although not a parent case, my wife received her stamp 4 in a month when we applied back in Feb 2016. I was suprised as it was taking them 3-4 months at that time to issue them.

My friend got it for his parents within 5 week and it was last month.

It seems like they don't have much cases coming in these days and this process seems to be quick for some people.

I posted my application on 27th so fingers crossed.

According to the EU1 application form it would be advisable for the EU citizen & their family to have comprehensive sickness insurance.
For your parent the Health Insurance is not a requirement for Immigration purposes so if you were to take health insurance it would be on a personal basis.

Temp Stamp 4 for my parent took 4 weeks to arrive

If you are intending to relocate to the UK with your mother using the Surinder Singh route, it would be wise to read the changes to the Rules published today. It appears that from the 25 November it will no longer be possible to use SS for extended family members, which includes parents.

The new changes still classifies parents as Family members and not extended family members.

Can you please guide me how parents are treated as extended family members?

1) In these Regulations, “family member” means, in relation to a person (“A”)—
(a)A’s spouse or civil partner;

(b)A’s direct descendants, or the direct descendants of A’s spouse or civil partner who are either—

(i)aged under 21; or

(ii)dependants of A, or of A’s spouse or civil partner;

(c)dependent direct relatives in A’s ascending line, or in that of A’s spouse or civil partner.

it is same here in ireland, they are not giving any stamp to EFM, they are refusing after 14-16 moths. I know alot of guy. Like that.
I will first get this visa sort then think abt other thing. UK is not end of world. I read alot of post but I think it depend upon case to case. they issue temporary till 04/07/2017 so i think they will give decision after that. i am studying as well as working here.

That's a sweeping statement you are making there

It would be useful and helpful to elaborate more on your "a lot of guys" being refused family visas here in Ireland and give some details around their status, their parent(s) status and the way they have applied for it.

I am sure that whilst the aim of the visa is the same for everyone the case of each person is different so making a general statement is not helpful for those who are still waiting a final decision

got temporary stamp on passport today but card will come after 2 weeks. THey got her temporary leave to remain stamp til july 2017.
i bought cheap medical insurnce 38 both of us can it work
my mother till now in ireland donot have bank account do I need to transfer 100 euro weekly. Is it necessary.
