Foreign DIvorce For Retention of Eu treaty right

Hi everyone

I am a non eu, I married my husband in 2009 and he left home early 2013 after a serious aguement, we have no kids together and he was self employe
d exercising his eu treaty right.
I received a divorce proceeding from a UK court last year september from him.

The divorce is through now.
My question is this,,,, My husband is Polish, and the divorce is from UK. So as at the time of divorce he was not in Ireland.
How will this affect my Retention of Eu Treaty right application.
