Garda Station appointment for stamp 4

Post by ch123 » Sat Feb 07, 2015 1:23 pm

Hi,

Is it possible for you guys to share your experiences with regards to visiting garda to get your passports stamped (Stamp 4). As in what kind of questions are asked and do we need to do any preparation? It's just that I have heard a lot of scary stories. People have said that Garda has often refused to grant the stamp. We have our appointment next week. I hope everything goes well.

If you have an approval letter from INIS, they will just check your passports and take the fingerprints of the GNIB card holder. Nothing to be worried about.

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah we have been issued letters by INIS. As far as I know there should be no issues. Fingers crossed.
