Ireland Spouse Visa Processing Time Pakistan

i forgot to say this week there been 12 decisions in total for join/acc eu spouse visas of which 7 refused and 5 approved.. that's the most i seen since i started looking in jan 2016. usually its like 3/4 a week at most.

This is worrying applied on 18th of September 2015 ref starts with 2253 and it's been six months and my application is still in Karachi. Really don't know what to do please advise I have returned from uk almost a year ago and I really just want to go to Ireland and settle down there with my wife but they just taking away our basic human right to be together. Please advise

Its not about certain nationals are being blocked its certain visa type and its only Spouses of EU citizens applications its a big load on eu treaty section in dublin.

i applied june 2015, still haven't had an answer. am not wanted to do surinder singh route - just join my husband in Ireland. Am now considering withdrawing the application and trying another route to get to ireland - i have read if apply for schengen visa to France/ Germany/ Spain and get EEA residence permit i can travel to EU countries includinfg Ireland on that. can anyone confirm if this is true?

I WANT MY PASSPORT AND ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS BACK I HAVE SENT EMAILS TO KARACHI CONSULATE SO MANY TIME BUT THEY NEVER GIVE ME ANS .....

ANYONE KNOW IS THEIR ANY OTHER WAY TO GET MY PASSPORT BACK?

Contact directly INIS in Dublin email them and them for your documents and see what they say to u.

hey guys just spoke to my solicitor she saying the highcourt test case judgment could be at the end of april and she confident that she will win the case too.. only problem is that she thinks MOJ will appeal it.

also I got her to write a letter to visa office been 3 weeks she hasn't had no response.
really running out of options now. she just telling me to wait until the highcourt judgement.

I also phoned a solicitor in spain in regards to a sghengen visa using my freedom of movement rights. she told me that I would have to move to Ireland n be working before I could apply for my wife. does anyone have any info on that please let me know thanks.

When this farce is finished?.. Wait for a visa 3 months almost a year this is sick and dramatic for families. You can see that examine only selected issues that they want. Not according to the date received. Why is everyone talking about cases blocked if every week is a few decisions EU family member

Certain nationalities are clearly blocked others not its that simple hence why some visas are still being issued. Its not difficult to guess which countries are blocked. They are the same nationalities the UK's spouse immigration policy is designed to prevent entry into the UK.

I have withdrawn my application... I've emailed them 3 items requesting back passport and documents but no response! Waiting another week then going to report passport as lost and make another one as INIS are purposely delaying all responses!

Has anyone received a decision from beginning of June?

Im thinking of going Pakistan until decision comes. Applied in September. Will me going effect the outcome of the application?

I am still waiting, applied end of May 2015.. think there will be little hope;

looking at the most recent decision list on INIS website it appears that most EEA applications have been refused, e.g some of the reasons -

F:- Finances:- evidence provided is deemed insufficient or incomplete
FM: - Family Member - There is no automatic right for non-EEA nationals who
are family members of non-EEA/Irish citizens to migrate on a long-term basis to
Ireland. Your case has been fully examined on the basis of the documentation
submitted, and it has been decided not to grant your application
ID:- Insufficient documentation submitted in support of application
PF: The granting of the visa may result in a cost to public funds –
application does not satisfy the criteria set out in the Policy Document on NonEEA

Hi Everyone,
it seems to me as if everyone has been waiting endlessly, specially the ones who have applied in May and June of last year. Honestly this is quite depressing, has anyone of you have at least tried to contact them? Most of my friends have had to wait six months or less for their decision to come, regardless if they were Irish citizens or not. I myself applied for my spouse on the 1st of October last year and until now I was under the illusion that when the processing date nears or is past by that date, I should hear something. And nothing happened, so I emailed them and their response reads that they received this application on 6th of January this year and that the current processing date is 4th of Nov 2015, meaning potentially another two months wait for us. I understand its six months for EU and Irish citizens and 12 months for all others. Since I am not an Irish citizen and on work permit which means I will be in the 12 month category. What about ye?????

I firmly believe they aren't processing applications received in November 2015. As you may see few other mentioned earlier applications.

I applied for my brothers family back in August, they claim to have it received in early September 2015 and we are still waiting for decisions.

I have written to them numerously, even sent them pre action protocol warning letter but they simply do not budge, they do not even reply let alone any further acknowledgement.

I spoke with Solvit last week and was told they have sent them number of complaints and that even someone from EU sent them letter as for these delays but Solvit - UK were told by INIS that INIS will not reply to them and will process as and when they can.

It is shameless to see such actions but what can you do really that is the question.

I initiated complaints procedure as per their customer service charter but guess what! complaints dept simply pass on the email to them for reply rather doing any investigations themselves and again the same that INIS do not bother replying.

Contacted complaints department again but they did the same thing, passed on the email to INIS which they dont even bother acknowledging. argh I can go on about it but safe to say INIS is shameless and clearly discriminating for the applications submitted from Pakistan.
