Irish short stay visa C type waiting time

Hi there,

I have applied for an Irish short stay visa C type on 13th July 2016. My husband is a British citizen who is working in Cork from July and I would like to join him. I still have not heard any response from the Irish embassy (i am in India and have applied to Delhi embassy). Is this kind of waiting time normal or should I be enquiring about it?

Forget about Irish C visa Under Directive 2004/38/Ec, That have 7000 backlog applications which delayed from june 2015, And there is no hope to get Irish C Visa, Just Relax and think you did applied for Irish Visa

My husband whose an Indian national has applied on 15 Sept 2016, under free movement directive, decision is still awaited. Could u tell me if you are working in India?? And did u mentioned that you want your application to be considered under free movement directive??

I made no comment on possible outcome nor on degree of 'hope'.

If trapped in a system you can't control what else is there to do but wait? File a case? - that's been tried.

Wait however long it takes. My wife applied in July 2015 so 11 months before you and we're still waiting.
