Naturalisation for unemployed person

Can anyone shine the light on this question for me:
If you are currently unemployed, but have never applied or received unemployment benefits, and now you are getting a request for the additional docs for the naturalisation application (payslips, P21, bank statement) from DoJ. These docs obviously show that you currently don't work. Can this in some way affect the DoJ decision about granting the citizenship?
Perhaps, this question may be interesting for many of us soon as the economic crisis getting stronger and stronger day by day...
