Naturalisation timeline f/minor child of naturalised parents

Did anyone applied for naturalisation of minor child recently as a naturalised parent? any idea how long this takes to process? There are I assume no WFOA crap on this one, so hoping it will be shorter than regular 3 years+ wait.

do the child need to go to court like an adult getting naturalised, or they just issue the cert of naturalisation if you pay the money?

Tuner or anybody else that is in the know. how long does the child have to be present in total to apply. Is it 3 years in total or is 3 years directly before application but 5 years in total.

PLEASE NOTE YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS RESIDENCE IN THE STATE PRIOR TO THE DATE OF APPLICATION.

what is the process after submitting naturalisation application for minor child ?

will they get approval letter like parents and goto court for oath ?

can anybody pls give clear timeframe and process involved ?

What happen if you both husband and wife have irish naturalisation and your kid born outside ireland? wil lthey get naturalisation ....?

if both parents are naturalised and the child is born outside ireland, the child's birth has to be registered in the foreign birth register at the nearest irish embassy. then the child can apply for the irish passport, no naturalisation needed.
but in that case i think, that your grandchildren will not get irish nationality if born outside of ireland. but i guess it's too early to think about that.

The grandchildren in their turn can acquire irish citizenship if they are registered in the foreign births register as well. So the citizenship route is kept alive.

It takes normally 3 months for a minor.
Costs 200 euro.
No oaths.

Sent them 200 euro and paperwork 7 !!! weeks ago and still waiting for the .....ing cert for my minor. Complete disgrace !

when do you need to send money, the 200 euro? with application or when they contact you saying that it is approved and looking for money?
