Non-EEA right to work on temp stamp 4?

Post by josrya89 » Fri Jun 24, 2016 7:48 am

Hello,

I have a question regarding the right to work of non-EEA citizens entering Ireland with a EEA spouse.

I understand that I (as the non-EEA member/US citizen) can apply for a single journey short-stay C visa to enter Ireland with my wife (EEA member), and if granted then apply for a Residence Card of a family member of a Union citizen upon entry into Ireland.

The Residence Card of a family member of a Union citizen application process is reported to take up to 6 months.

Would I be able to work as during the time that the request for a Residence Card of a family member of a Union citizen is processing?

Thanks
