Only EU PERMITTED family member update their status here

Any update from any one?
As it's end of October?

Still not heard anything and I've been mailing them. They only replied yesterday saying decision will be made in coming days.

I'm trying to be optimistic but I've also packed my bags and ready for the worst! Hope something positive happens for you guys.

Got a response after 8 months.
As expected, application refused

Reasons they gave were very very very very trivial. Things that could be sorted with a phone call.

Application was done on the new form.

Good luck to others still waiting or about to submit.
I have to say if your dependant is not in a "vegitative/close to death" stage, you will have to be one of the luckiest persons on earth.

And by permitted member- everyother person outside the scope of family definition and unmarried partners.

what you think was wrong or un-just.
and what you will do next?

They basically were reasons concerning the dependant's personal life. They asked for review, nothing next to be done other than leaving as from what I've heard, it will still be rejected.

ooo! this is sad. Im still waiting for 8 and half months. I think my decision will be with me soon. I have one update that one of my friend got his stamp4 on his cousin dependency after 7 months.

Can you plz explain what was the specific reason they based their decision on?

There was no specific reason, there was really really no reason . They looked at all documents and said they don't believe he's a permitted member. Their issue was not on dependency but on the dependant's personal life eg why they travelled, why a friend paid money in their account.

You should mail then consistently (daily/weekly) otherwise they would delay your case

Have you been waiting since the acknowledgment in August???

You have to keep sending them emails weekly and possibly post a letter (registered post) asking questions so you don't keep waiting without hearing anything.

10months quite long. No other person has updated so I'm not sure if anyone else is still applying

hi everyone. i applied on 23 june 2016 for extended european family member visa in ireland , on 4th oct 2016 i receive acknowledgment letter nearly 10 months ago i just wondering, what is the success rate in these days? are they giving visa to this category or not ? and what type visa??. your reply would be highly appreciated. thanks

Hi I applied eu1a permitted family member in Ireland. But recently got refusal with review option. My partner and our 1.7 years old baby is both EU citizen. I submitted Ireland based 4 months joint tenancy, bills, partner job pay slips l. And I submitted 2 years UK based address correspondence official letters but everything was on separate no joint. Because we rented room only in UK and landlords never provided any tenancy agreement or bills. However I submitted last 1 lanlord written tenancy confirmation with his recent bill with our personal many correspondence official letter. But another 1 year I didn't provide any letter from landlord but we provided many single letters that we were living on that duration. But immigration refused our application. Now I am going to review through lawyer. Tell me guys is there any good chance to get visa or very difficult?

Hi Shakib,

Personally I know many people who has applied as a permitted family member none of them got visa actually and they wasted so much of their time I would advise you not to review it or whatsoever if you have any other option go for that but not that EU fam thing.

I am just writing it to you so that not more of your time is wasted because time is money, apply for any other route which has more chance of getting the visa rather than this.

Hi Harman....so you are married with EU citizen? How many months you are waiting for visa or what are inis making issue with you? I said we unmarried partner . My EU and 2 years child are both EU citizen. I provided 2 years address proof UK based and 6 months Irish based when applied. But it was only 1 year on July when I made application. We are no married. Recently I reviews through solicitor. Do you have any idea how quick they can make decision and max time too?? Can you share your case too. I do not know what should I do go back UK or what???? Ireland is for dodgy cases or for genuine cases???

Any permitted family member (brother/sister) got Residence card in 2017 ???
