Opening bank account before EU1 form application

Hi,

As you all know I am applying for my brother's and his family's RC at the start of next month. By the Grace of God, we have completed our documentation and evidences. They currently have no legal status in the state.

I was wondering is it possible to open their bank accounts before we submit the application as we are in possession of valid passports and proof of address? I am thinking of applying in Bank of Ireland.

I would appreciate your advice.

You can open account with AIB . They only ask for photo ID and account applicant name on utility bill as proof of address. Hope it helps.
