Parents Visit Visa - 90 days

Dear All,

My parents has applied for a short stay visit visa from Pakistan and they want to spend the summer with us here in Ireland.

Let's suppose if their 90 days visa is approved from Pakistan on the 1st April which would be valid until 30th June. Can they travel to Ireland on the 20th June and Immigration at airport will grant them entry to Ireland for another 90 days ? Could that be possible ? OR they have to travel and live in Ireland with us only between 1st April until 30th June ?

They have to leave on or before the date of expiry of their visit visa.

A friend of mine parents were in the same situation what i explained. They arrived in Ireland a week before the expiry of their visa and the immigration officer extended the visa for further 90 days.

Suppose it depends on the immigration officer and if he is in a good mood or not.

My parents got 90 days visa and they travelled a month later of their visa, the officer at airport granted 90 days visa, however they intent to live more then 90 days therefore we applied further extension straight away,
