Positive outcome of extended family members Ireland

Post by legalaid » Mon Oct 26, 2015 6:31 pm

Hi everyone

I would like to invite people here about there experiences for extended family member cases. Anyone with positive outcome in Ireland. It involves a lot of effort, time and money but I see results are coming negative. I have seen few recent posts and either case is rejected or in judicial review.

I am also in same process and would be grateful if everyone could share documents and reasons of refusal.

Thanks

Hi

I meet with many people but no one got positive reply in extended family member case ( Siblings ).

Some people says they were granted last year or 2 years ago but i havnt seen any one yet.

They are just doing Copy / Paste in refusal.

I also not sure what if British Citizen exercise his treaty rights and reside with his extended family member in Ireland and then go back to UK in Suridner Singh Route.

Pls share your experience if any one of you got Residence Card Stamp 4Fufam as extended family member.

Hi

To be honest i haven't come across with any solicitor here with complete grip on these cases. Everyone has different information and has their own justifications. Direct family members cases are bit straight forward but for extended family members are not that simple. I am not even able to find out the the difference between household or financial dependency. I mean if only household makes you eligible for application or you need to prove dependency as well.

Regarding SS route I know as extended family member it does not come under automatic rights but not sure if dependency/household accepted by Eu member state why its difficult in UK.

Hi

Cheif state solicitor office ask for adjournment of the case for one month, which were agreed on both side, so new date is mid of Jan 2016.

Let see how it goes.

Do u know if JR outcomes in ireland are similar to UK where the losing side pays the costs to the other side?

HI

its very different in UK & Ireland Judicial Review system i think UK one is very good, most of cases solved on Pre Action Protocol Letter and rest of them before first hearing, but here don't know yet, what they are going to do with it.

Lets see how it work.

I will keep you update.

hello there I need some advice from you all people,
My real brother is British national he is going to Ireland soon for exercising Treaty Rights (self employed etc). I'm from Pakistan and I am dependent on my brother financially, for this he used to send me money from years till now through western union I have the receipts as a prove also utility bills in my name What else it could be to show strong dependency in documentation. My brother and mine permanent address is the same where I'm living in Pakistan to make this dependent family visa type c to Ireland. Please any suggestions would be very pleased.
Thanks

Unclear why you are posting in such an old topic.

But post in public so all may benefit. This approach also protects one and all from unwanted attention and scammers & etc.

Just want to say I got my temporary stamp acknowledgement today as extended family member unmarried partner, but its not for 6 months rather it is 9 month. Is this what is happening now or this is just a one off, please anyone with recent experience should share their experience.

I recently received a 9 month temp stamp 4 and I suspect is to cover your stay in case it takes longer for INIS to reach their final decision on the estimated date you would have received on your letter

@hk79
Yes they claim waiting time is now about 10 months so those on expired six months can extend for four months... So they are probably saving you the stress of having six mths stamp
