PPS number for EU citizen

My husband and I are submitting our application for EU1 Residence card, however he is yet to receive his PPS number, he is the EU Citizen, I am non eea. Should we wait until we get it or is it not necessary for the application and can we send it separately when it comes?

Also wondering about health insurance... Is that necessary for both of us? He is currently employed.

If I were you id wait till the PPS comes. Because Your visa will be issued on EU treaty practicing of EU citizen( your Husband).PPS is such a thing its a unique number tied up the to system.They can verify very easily with PPS number if the person paying tax or working..

Good that he is working just wait for his first pay slip as well his PPS number.
From my best knowledge.. Health insurance is not necessary

Anyways any short comings of the application they will ask you in writing..
so not to worry if you miss any documents
