Hi All,

Did anyone went through the re-entry visa these days ? I have booked appointment online but still do you have to wait in the office or is it smooth now ? and still you need to get the ticket ? OR how the queue work ?

U book ur appointment online then u dont have to wait in line. Go on 5 min before ur appointment time and u will be seen shortly.its nice and easy smooth.i got my re entry other day my apppointment time was 8.30 amd i was out by 9.dont worry.

So who would you show your appointment letter and who will deal with you as soon as you enter in the office ?

U just tell the guy on the front door that u have an appointment and he will let u in.and when u get in u wait till ur name called and thats it ur done

My experience with the re-entry visa is below:

Appointment made for 8:30am

I was called at: 9:20am

Was out of INIS office at : 9:40am

So what's the point of online appointment system when you have to wait for over an hour.....

It was ir luck m8.but remember ur not the only person got appointment at 8.30. Theres good few people.

@Llian2345: Yes you will get the visa straight from the officer. Once you have your appointment, make sure you are in the office 5 mins before of your appointment time and they will call your name. You will present your documents and within few mins the officer will issue you your visa. alternatively, you can send your passport + documents by registered post and within few days you will get your passport back with the visa on it.

@Hamza2013: You would need your passport + GNIB card + application form + fees + birth / marriage certificate if your visa is based on marriage / child.
