retention of stamp 4 refused

Post by Crist22 » Wed Dec 21, 2016 8:43 pm

Hi,

I applied for a retention of my stamp 4 at the beginning of the year and it turns out, i have been refused. I contacted a lawyer who told me, i should have been granted a retention and he will take care of it. My visa expired 2 weeks ago. i am only wondering am i be able to continue working, why my appeal is in process? Thanks

How long did your marriage last before filing divorce and was you ex in the state at time of divorce?

The department are extremely strict on retention sInce the case of Singh.

The European Court of Justice has ruled that the EU citizen must be residing in the state at the time of the initiation of divorce.

Not sure how this other lawyer is seeking to assist.

It appears that most Irish Immigration lawyer are having difficulty catching up with the state of the law.
