Right of free moment visa application

Post by Prince_irl » Mon Sep 22, 2014 12:08 pm

Hi all

I applied for my family visa under derictive 2008 right of free moment in first week of July from Karachi (Pakistan).

After 4 days they asked for nikha Nama ( marriage certificate ) which I send them next day. They received all of my documents on 13th of July.

Since then I m waiting it's more then 9 weeks my application is still pending. As for as I know it could be done in between 4 weeks.

Any body knows any delays in NI office in Dublin ....?

Any advice......???

I try and send 2-3 email to DOJ but they are not giving any answer

DOJ never tells that it will be finalized in 4 weeks, where do you got this info from ?

They always say between 6 to 8 weeks. My wife visa took 10 weeks from Karachi last year. Anyway, now a days DOJ takes about 6 months, as it happened to 2 of my close friends and they are Irish citizens.

In your case, i would suggest to keep an eye on the department's website for the weekly decisions and it could land any time. There is no point of sending emails to DOJ, they simply send you the copy/paste reply.

Good Luck
