Can somebody who has recently applied for a visa for their Non EEA spouse to accompany them to Ireland please tell me exactly which supporting documents need to be submitted?

Can nobody help? My husbands visas for the uk have been refused a couple of times and I just want to get this application perfect so it's not another refusal.

Are you applying from pakistan?

i gave the following-

Cover letter from non eu citizen saying applying under eu directive 2004/38/ec.

eu citizen letter saying non eu spouse will accompany me to ireland to exercise treaty rights.

Marriage certificate - make sure its attested with english copy and preferably nadra marriage certificate. Attested from mofa islamabad.

I also gave marriage photos.

Tickets for both eu and non eu. This isnt necessary but helps. Set a date around 8 weeks after submitting application since it takes around 8 weeks to process.

Make sure to apply online and then print summary sheet.

Also book appointment with vhs global to submit documents. Make sure to print out payment sheet and appointment sheet. It costs 37 euros last time i checked.

Hi thanks so much for replying. Yeah we are applying from Pakistan. We were married in the UK so is that marriage certificate ok to submit as it is?
Did your application take 8 weeks to process?
Thanks again

Can I also ask if you put any return date on your application and was it just one way tickets you booked?

Yes mine took 8 weeks to process plus a few more days for documents to return.

Uk marriage certificate will be fine.

I did put return date but it really doesnt matter. Just put arrival date around 8 weeks time and return 3 months later.

my wife did get a return ticket since i think airlines dont accept it sometimes. I suggest getting one just to be on safe side.

the eu citizen wont need one.
