travel in europe

Hello Folks

Just wondering do Irish passport holders need to gain Visas to travel within Europe for non european daughter , or will we be able to travel with just childs papers ie Passport,birth cert etc.

we will have to wait some time to natualize our child but would like to fo to Uk from time to time bearing in mind i also hold british passport
