urgent help - wife visa expired

Post by alphagear » Wed May 20, 2015 7:35 pm

Hi,

Just wanted to know whether this will be an issue.

My wife received a 30 day entry stamp on arrival.

I decided to submit our eu1 before the 1 month expiry.

We did not register But i did contact eu treaty rights regarding my wifes visa expiry and they replied saying i have 3 months from day of entry to apply for eu1. No mention of registering though it does say on her entry stamp to register within 3 months.

Now we have received letter go get temp stamp 4 but my wifes visa expired 4 weeks ago.

also the fact that where we are located the immigration officer visits our garda station only once every 10 days or so.

Will this cause a problem?

Hi,

This will not cause a problem, you arfe applying under an EU Directive now and that section of immigration have granted you a temporary stamp 4 permission which is valid. Do not be worried. Update me here or pm me to let me know how you get on.

Yes everything went fine regarding registration.

But theres another issue regarding payslips. I believe my employer has put me on the wrong tax credits which i wasnt entitled too initially.

Just received an amended tax credit certificate for the 8th of may 2015 which corresponds with my payslips.

What i dont understand is why my initial payslips prior to may 8th match the amended tax certificate if its been amended.

Dont know much about payslips but i hope this doesnt cause me issues later.

Thanks.

Hi Alpha

i am on the same boat as you. my visa is expiring tommorow but I sent my EU1 form today. I was only given one month entry at the airport. we did go to INIS to register but they said we need to send eu1 form. Since i have no pps and eu citizen spouse has just moved as well. all i sent to them was passports, photos, form, marriage certificate and a letter from my freind who we are living with to say that we are living with him. I have explained that we will provide further documentation as and when we get them. Do you think they will issue me a visa since i only have one month entry.

thanks

ali

Hi Ali,

i did the same.

What to do is keep sending documents as you get them.

It takes them 4 weeks to make a decision.

pretty sure they cant refuse you within the first 3 months.
