WorldCitizen Member Member # 1527 | Posted October 15, 2002 11:55 AM Sorry to be so brief but this issue does tend to open up a big can 'o worms here. To bad the search function is down yet again. All I can say is that you would be better off to spend the £250 on upgrading your skill set than give it to them. I have heard of many horror stories as well as 1 (yes 1) of success. Chris Fysh Member Member # 618 | Posted October 16, 2002 05:15 PM Why don't you give them a call. I don't think it costs anything to register. -------------------- Chris |
herman Member Member # 12 | Posted October 16, 2002 11:18 PM What's different between Sybersolve and Oxygen is that Sybersolve doesn't charge any £ to be on their list! All you need to do to get on Sybersolve's list is to contact them, and they'll let you know if there's work for you. However, don't expect a lot, as the contract market kind of sucks right now. |
Moby Member Member # 4437 | Posted October 17, 2002 07:41 AM I met them a few months ago. They can assist in Work Permit (filing for you as your Employer), and manage your accounts (Contractor earnings) PROVIDED you are able to secure a contract project on your own. SG |
marketka Junior Member Member # 5821 | Posted October 17, 2002 12:20 PM I want to do IT contracting here, which in my case means establishing a ltd. company, so I saw them today (for free). Seems they may be quite helpful in my case - they'd organize my visa & run the company on my behalf, but they'd virtually suck 15% of my earnings during the first year (the fee declines the longer I'd use them). I would also appreciate to know from someone who used them in the past - or even someone who decided not to (to know why). |
