Indian Medical Visa- Please help

I am a british pakistani. I was born in the UK and I am a british citizen since birth. I need a medical visa to go to India.I just became aware that I have a pakistani ID card even though I have never used it. This means that I have dual nationality (British and Pakistani). Can I apply for a medical visa using my British passport?
