Indian passport renewal in London

Hi Folks,

I am in London on Tier-1 and my passport is expiring next year. so in all I have passport validity of 1 year.

And my expires in 11 months from today.

Can I renew my passport sometimes soon - lets say in couple of months from now before I apply for extension of Tier-1?

I am scared to be in a situation where I have to apply for both Visa- extension and renewal in very limited time left..

Please help.
