Marriage In Phillipines

Does anyone know the whole process of getting married in the Philippines? Do you really need to spend 10 days there getting a marriage license and do you really need to spend 10 after you get married? I am worried about this as I may not be able to get that much time off work. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.
