OCI Application online photo

Filling my online OCI application at the moment and have come to a page which says:

OCI- Registration Image Upload
Temporary Application ID xxxxxxxxx

Thanks For Submission Of Your Details

Your File Reference Number is xxxxxxxxxxx

Please ensure following points before uploading photo

Image should be of jpeg or jpg format
Image size should not be larger than 30KB
Images must be square; i.e, aspect ratio must be 1:1
If you don't want to upload photograph. You can click the "Skip" button below.

Options are:
- I am ready with the image
- Continue without upload

I have been reading through this board for a few weeks now and have not come across 'online upload of photos for OCI'.

Is this is recent change?

Did any of the recent applicants had to do this?

I Don't have a 1:1 photo ready at the moment(as per their guidelines), so not sure what to do.

Did my online application couple of weeks back - ready to submit application next week. I didn't get this option when doing online family application.

Another member has reported that online application has changed in the past couple of days.

I have pressed skip, not sure whether I can go back and upload later.

Anyone uploaded photos online for OCI application?

Hello All,
I am Elsa, I made online application for OCI on 30.05.13, during the process I was given option to upload photo which should be not more than 30KB, unfortunately my photo size was 50KB when I tried to reduce the memory size, it did not match the required size, which is 51cm by 51cm. But I completed the process with out uploading the photo, hope things goes on fine.

online photo upload is optional and you can paste a photo onto the form and submit in person/post.

I submitted my daughter's application on 21st May and i skipped the photo upload process.
