Not using change of circumstances form

I just recently learned about UKBA change of circumstances form (online or postal) and I'm worried because I never used it.

I've been on Tier 2 General for 4 years and moved house several times. I always did just two things: notify my employer and get it recorded on my registration certificate. I was not aware of any additional requirements. I've been with two sponsors and neither told me anything about it.

Do you think it can affect my future ILR eligibility? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
