Irish Citizen Application

Hy all i am going to apply irish citizen application i just want to know do i have to send them all my previous passports photo copy of all pages or just current passport .

i think you have to send photocopy of all your previous passport incl the current

www.inis.ie all the documents are mention there,you can contact there is place in dublin 8 for helping the citizenship application you will able to find them in google,its free organistion,they will help you with citizenship application

From Form 8:
A certified colour copy of the page of your current passport/travel document containing your photograph. If the page
containing your photograph does not include your name etc or does not give the expiry date of your passport, please
also submit a certified copy of the relevant page(s) of your current passport/travel document containing these details.
Please also provide copies of all other pages of your passport and full copies of any previous passport valid during
periods of residence in the State

So, no need to send the copies of ALL passports except you used to while to cover all residency in Ireland.

I just wondering did you read F8/F9/F10/F11 (whichever the case you applying citizenship for) at all???

A copy of your original civil birth certificate and a copy of a translation into English if the certificate is in a language other
than English or Irish.*

I think 'Copy' means 'photcopy' not the original.

I am going to apply citizen behalf of my 5 year residency , i am separate with my wife , should i write her name in application form or not? . I just tick on separate box , .

About to apply for an irish citizenship but realise the form 8 has two types one with 15 pages and another with 16 pages. .. don't know which to use. Any advice welcome and thanks in advance.
