So to provide a summary - and someone please correct me if I've misinterpreted - if you made an application before the amended rule (276ADE(iv)) came in (13 December 2012) - then the original 7 year concession stands - otherwise - the new version stands.

Am I right?

Our application under the 7 years child rule was also refused in Feb 2014 and rejected as the main applicant was our son who is 7 years using the FLR(FP). His claim was refused and the rest of the family as dependent rejected. The only surprising our fee of £2300 has be refunded. We just received the cheque of £2300 from Home Office this morning.
