Leaving here illegally for over 10years help

I have got a friend who been here illegally for over 14years.
He is single and has been working under another name.
I want to help him from this situation.
Is it any hope in term of immigration law route ?
Your advices are needed.

20 years I think now....

Oh yeah, missed that, might as well go home and try again in his next life. It's a definite no-no...

@ momo1, how old is your friend now? Your friend's age could determine if he can apply under the right to private life route.

My friend is around 45 years old.

Working under another name? I gather that means he has a false passport which is a very serious offence.

@ momo1, with his age, he will have to spend 20yrs in UK to be able to apply for leave under right to private life and he will have to proof his own identity and how he came to UK. He should also stop doing anything that is against UK law like using another person's name.

Another option is if he has any child born in UK.
