When to apply for ILR

My wife's spouse visa expires on august 19. Her DAT of entry into the UK was 27th July. However we will be out of the country try on holiday from the 24th July till 16th of August. Can we apply when we return on are we risking it? Should we cancel the holiday (got our dates mixed up!) Can I make a premium service centre appointment not for the day after we get back?

you can apply 28 days before reaching the 2 year residence requirement, so you could apply in person from 30 june onwards at peo.

english level b1 test and LIUK required.

what is the start/issue date of the visa?
Char (CR001 not Casa)
