Getting UK job with Indian Degree

Hi

I am writing this on behalf of my wife.
We have been in UK for the past 3.5 years . She is a PBS TIER 2 dependent.
She is a dual PG degree holder in MBA and M.COM from India. However, does not have much work experience in India.

Fortunately after coming here she got a part time job as teaching assistant in an after school teaching institute . Now she has been with them for around 2 years. Parallely, we have been trying for a permanent job in some area for long . But never really got even a single a call from anyone . We wonder if its because of her Indian education background or not. We have no clue what needs to be done to get an interview call. Are internships open only to UK citizens ?

What about graduate jobs ?
We tried at several firms for graduate positions and
In the end managed to get call from 3 of Big 4 firms and NHS graduate programme alone.
Has anybody managed to get graduate jobs from a similar background ?

Any advise will be deeply appreciated.
