URGENT advice needed

Hi,
Currently I am on tier 2 dependant visa but I want to switch to tier 2 main applicant. Is there any way I can switch in-country (inside UK) as I absolutely do not want to go back to my home country.
Also, I have another question regarding 10 year ILR rule. Will the period spent as Tier 2 Dependant count toward the 10 year ILR?
