Australian Visit Visa for British Citizen

Hi Members,

I need to ask a quick question regarding rules around Australian visit visa.

Me and my daughter are British Citizens (with British Passports) while my wife is on indefinite leave with Pakistani Passport. We want to travel to Australia for holiday / visit my sister. I know the British Citizens can get the eVisitor visa but what are the requirements if I need to travel with my wife?

She will need to apply for a visitor visa from the Australian embassy before she travels.

I called the Australian high commision today and they said she will need to apply using a paper based application under subclass 600 and there will be a charge of 135 AUD and will take between 1-4 weeks.
