Tier 1 visa's granted - 2008 to 2013 - A report.

Post by O_Relly » Sun Jul 13, 2014 12:43 am

Hi,
I recently came across this report published by the UKVI,
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... 08-to-2013

Given that Tier 1 General applications for out of country applicants were closed in Dec 2010, and for in-country applicants by April 2011, I find it strange that the number of Tier 1 General visas granted in 2012 is 25,665 and in 2013 is 17,060 ?

Also, the Highly Skilled Migrant Program which was closed long back, still has 65 visas granted in 2011, and 5 visas granted in 2012 and 2013. ?

Are these reports accurate? Can someone explain these statistics please?
Cheers,
OR
