Out of UK for office work - Letter for absence from agency?

Dear Sir\Madam,
I am due for my ILR in another 1 year
I am having my own LTD company, working as contractor through an agency,
Company is sending me to India for work purpose
Do i need any letter from my agency (This is to prove that i am paid during these absence in UK at the time of ILR application)
Heard from one of friend that we need to enter the dates (UK left and UK arrived) in ILR application

For how long are you going to be away for work? Is this going to be more than 180 days or in anyway break your ILR continuity ?

Absences of more than 180 days in any 12 month period for employment or economic
activity reasons are not considered exceptional.

That said, there have been specific cases with extended time spent outside UK for work purpose have been granted ILR, spend some time in the ILR forum in this board, and you will get an idea.

No chance, as sole director and sole employee you're sending yourself to India, your choice.

The person in the above post had 320 days continuous absence as a director of a limited company and still managed to get his ILR.
So as long as you don't take time off that will break your ILR continuity, you should be fine.

Can I attend the exam in Dec 2014/Jan 2015, is it ok?
After passing the exam if a new edition is released then again I need to appear for the exam?
